SSDI Eligibility for Chronic Kidney Disease and Dialysis Patients
If your kidney function is critically low (Stage 4 CKD) but you have not yet begun regular dialysis, you can still win SSDI benefits under Listing 6.05. To meet this strict listing, your medical records must document a severely low Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) or high serum creatinine levels over a consecutive 12-month period, combined with at least one of the following complications:
